Tram0: Tram Ride of the Future Past

1. One ticket per person. Suitable for participants aged 8 or above. Participants under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
2. Limited quota is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance reservation is required, no walk-in registration will be accepted.
3. No latecomers will be admitted. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time and present the e-ticket for registration. 
4. The tram ride lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes on weekdays and 60 to 75 minutes on weekends. There will be no intermissions or midway stops. The duration may vary depending on traffic conditions; the actual time may be shorter or longer than scheduled.
5. Participants will board at the Whitty Street Tram Depot and alight at “Smithfield” tram stop. Weekend sessions will include a 30-minute art tour along Belcher Bay Promenade after the tram ride. Please wear comfortable clothing and assess your own health condition before participating.
6. Due to the steps and art installations on the tram for this “Tram0: Tram Ride of the Future Past” event, wheelchair users will unfortunately be un able to join.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused. However, the ride is designed as a multi-sensory art journey, and participants with visual or hearing impairments, as well as those with other special needs, are most welcome to participate.
7. The ride involve intense lighting, strobe effects, and loud noises that may trigger photosensitive epilepsy and cause discomfort and may not be suitable for participants who are pregnant. 
8. Please keep noise to a minimum and mute all sound-emitting devices, including mobile phones, during the ride.
9. Please do not touch, push, shake, lean or climb any installations to prevent accidents.
10. Running or playing inside the tram is prohibited. Participants are advised not to walk around while the tram is moving.
11. Photography and filming for non-commercial purposes are welcome, but please do not use flashlights, selfie sticks or tripods to avoid disturbing other participants.
12. Eating and drinking are strictly prohibited inside the tram.
13. In case of any emergencies (e.g. adverse weather, accidents or disturbances), the ride may be suspended, delayed or cancelled immediately depending on the actual conditions. If there are any emergencies or if you feel unwell, please seek assistance from our on-site staff immediately.
14. Selling items, distributing flyers or promotional materials, and engaging in any commercial activities are prohibited during the ride.
15. There is no parking and storage services. Please do not bring large objects and bags, and any items which may cause annoyance or inconvenience to others.

17. In accordance with Section 18, 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to request access to and correction of personal data. The personal data you provide by means of this registration will be kept as records of this project only. Request for personal data access and correction should be addressed to Hong Kong Arts Development Council (the Organiser) by email: [email protected].
18. Participants may be captured in photos or video-recordings during the ride. The materials may be saved and uploaded to the Organiser, Hong Kong Tramways Limited and Tram Plus Limited (the Partners), and the artist(s)’ websites, social media platforms, publications and/or publicity materials. All photos and videos will be used for promotional purposes only.
19. Please understand that your participation is done at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you shall assume all risk or injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge the and the Partners from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with your participation, whether arising out of the and the Partners’ negligence or otherwise.
20. HKADC reserves the right to deny admission or ask participants to leave for failing to comply with any of our instructions or engaging in unsafe, illegal, or unruly behaviour.
21. HKADC reserves the right to decide and alter the operation of the rides at its own discretion. Should there be any changes or cancellations, please follow our latest updates on website and social media platforms.

1. A confirmation email with the e-ticket will be sent to you upon successful application and payment. Please check the junk mailbox if necessary.
2. Upon confirmation of registration and payment, the payment is non-refundable.
3. The information provided will be used by the organisers and producer(s) for contact and programme promotion.
4. By proceeding with the registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the rules and regulations set by the organiser(s) and Hong Kong Tramways.

1. If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Red/Black Rainstorm Warning, remains in force at 10:00am on the event day, all sessions scheduled for that day will be cancelled without rescheduling. All fees paid will be automatically refunded in full via Popticket to the original payment account within one month.
2. For safety reasons, the organiser may delay, suspend, or cancel the ride depending on actual circumstances. If the ride is cancelled due to adverse weather or severe traffic congestion, participants will receive notification via email or SMS from the Organiser.  Please stay tuned for any updates on the Facebook page and Instagram (@arts.tech.exhibition).
3. The Organiser reserves the right to proceed with or cancel the ride according to the prevailing weather and traffic conditions, with safety as the top priority.

In case of discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.
